INSTITUT HENRY WALLON (Villeneuve Loubet)
After the Big Build event (construction of a playground and outoors space for the children), volunteers from Bel Air are proposing workshops for the children: Using a computer, English introduction to basics, Diversity-learn about countries and cultures, Kids restaurant, Wood and craft, Playground maintenance, Library creation.
In 2016, Helping Hands will help financing the workshops, especially the library: Refresh the room and buy furniture for the books and reading space.

Contribute to the education and food purchase for the kids from an orphenage in Minethouk.
TREE FOR HELP (Cambodia)
The association supports 21 villages located in the poorest region of Cambodia, that suffer from deforestation and difficult access to drinkable water. There project is to plant 3000 trees on the “Krolabeung” hill. Helping Hands will contribute to that project.
RAIN DROP (India)
In Ambajogai, Maharashtra, people suffer from 3 years of low monsoon. The lack of water doesn’t allow them enough drinking and irrigation water for the entire year . The Ayur Project aims at constructing water harvesting ponds to recharge underground aquifers for drinking water and provide surface water for irrigation.
FRANCE INDE KARNATAKA – HALLIGUDI HOSPITAL (India)
Halligudi hospital is located in rural village in Karnataka and aims to combat infant and mother mortality, and offer free medical care and prevention to these people who suffer current diseases and do not have access to any remedy, drug or medical consultation, due to their secluded location.
This year, Helping Hands will support the installation of solar panels for the pre-nursery.
POOR HIGHLAND CHILDREN FUND (Vietnam)
Finance meals and support basic needs for mountainous school children.
2016 project is to renovate a school in a small remote village of Madagascar. We will coat the old walls, paint them, repair the roof and buy some desk and chair for the kids.
ESPACO JOVEM (Capo Verde)
Espaço Jovem aims at stimulating youths and contribute to their social inclusion through methods and sociocultural animation techniques` (art, music, painting, theatre..) as well by teaching them some manual works
The objective is to contribute to the renovation of the the different areas of the building , and in particular of the carpentry.
Malinia has helped a refugees Touareg village to settle next to the Niger river and has built a school attended by 100 children. Helping Hands contributes to financing the cantine fees: purchase the food and pay for the cook.
KENYAN KIDS (Kenya)
Kenyan Kids exists to give opportunities to vulnerable children and their families living in the Western Province of Kenya. There, girls are at risk of early marriage, female circumcision or child prostitution.
Helping Hands will help Kenyan Kids to provide necessary care, food, lodging and school fee) to keep twelve girls at school, give them access to education and hope for the future.
FLEURS DE BATIE (Burkina Faso)
The association has built a school for the girls of the Batie village with a “foyer” where they can stay after school.
The association, with the help of Helping Hands, want to create a drilling with a pump in Batie city centre in the area of the market to support the market.
Contribute to the creation of an aquaponics system for a boarding school for children who were rescued from slavery in Ghana.
SLIDA – shared development agency (Malawi)
Just like many Malawian villages, Mpingu community has many vulnerable children who do not have access to food and academic support. Thanks to Reverend Enock Saini Phiri, the community now has a junior primary school (Grades 1 to 6) and has been embraced by the Government of Malawi. However, the food requirements for the community still stands on the founder, hence the help requested for financial support this year. Beneficiaries of this budget will be those that go to the community school.
WARM HEARTS (Morocco)
The project is to provide clothes to people, children and adults, women and men living in isolated areas in Morocco where winter can be very cold and houses not heated.
Support one week of summer camp where 126 kids – that live in foster houses and instituitions – can spend some time outside their houses, doing “nature camping”, helping them on their development and autonomy and promoting the relationship with the nature.
ARMENIAN CHILDREN – VISION DU MONDE (Armenia)
Purchase fruit trees that will allow the Vardénis community to protect children against diseases and malnutrition and give them the strength to go to school and learn.
CARITAS KIEV (Ukraine)
Caritas-Kyiv helps refugees from Ukraine’s eastern regions to settle far away from the conflict zones. This year, our project focus on 40 persons who are the most vulnerable of the group: the handicapped, elderly without family, and children. Aid will be provided by the following means: 1) Adult diapers, napkins and disposable pads for sick handicapped people 2) medicine 3) Food 4) Gifts for children.
