“Being healthy is a privilege”. The ESM association’s objective is to initiate, foster and encourage the practice of sport [mainly tennis] for sick children. ESM is in permanent contact with more than 150 children and their families in several French Hospitals to offer holidays based on Tennis sport.

Amadeus and Helping Hands in collaboration with St. Vincent de Paul do yearly collection of food and household goods which are redistributed to families and people with most needs in the Grasse area.

Les parrains du coeur (France)

This association aims in supporting families and young people in the town or Garbejaire by volunteering (one-off or recurrent) with homework, tutoring, mentoring, assist in field trips, animator during outings, etc. We are always looking for volunteers! For more details, click here.

Nos tout petits de Nice (NTPN)  (France) http://nostoutpetitsdenice.org/

In the PACA region, around 750 entire families per year are touched by perinatal grief forever, knowing that the majority of parents will fall pregnant later on. The NTPN Nice accompanies, informs & trains more than 150 bereaved families and 1000 health care professionals in the PACA region, by different means like: contact media: internet, phone, email, flyers, etc.

A non-profit association, supporting up to 300 underpriviledge kids between 6 to 18 years of age living on institutions due to dysfunctional families by promoting their development and autonomy.

This project is built in order to help illiterate people in the region. Not being able to properly read, write and count creates social insertion breach and difficulty into their professional and family life, condemning this people to isolation, precarious work contracts and high risk of job losing.

In the age of digitalization, today is a fact that more and more of daily citizenship obligations (taxes, CAF, Social Security, etc) are handled electronically , increasing risk of social rupture with the system by not being able to comply with obligations.

Association proposing sport therapy for people suffering from cancer or in remission from cancer. 2500 persons have benefited from this sport therapy for 17 years in 24 French departments. This project aims to implement a sport therapy session for children. It will benefit children who suffer from cancer in Nice. The objective is to help them to recover better and faster from cancer.

Care for children (Myanmar)  http://www.careforchildren.nu/en

The foundation supports a girls orphanage in Minethouk, Myanmar (Burma). Since 2008 they also support the nearby boys orphanage.  The aim of this project involvement is to contribute to the education and food purchase for the kids in the orphanage.

France Inde Karnataka (F.I.K.) (India)  www.franceindekarnataka.org

France Inde Karnataka (F.I.K.) is a local development association whose mission is to improve access to healthcare and education in the poor rural area of Halligudi (Karnataka – South India). The organization mainly acts through its hospital, which has treated more than 200.000 patients in 20 years. Because of the high infant mortality rate, F.I.K. started a new nursery project, whose goals are to educate very young children and to work with mothers in order to reduce infant mortality.

Rain Drop is a French non-profit organization registered in Grasse since 2010. Working in drought-prone villages of India to improve life conditions, water management and agricultural production techniques and foster women’s empowerment.

This association helps in the support meals for school children in the Northern mountainous areas of Viet Nam. Children in the remote and isolated mountainous regions in the northern of Vietnam usually have difficulties to go to school (family background, distance, routes …). If parents accept to let them go, they don’t have money to get them meals.

Projects in Africa

The main mission of the association is to educate a maximum of nomadic children, either in MALI on the KARKADJANE site, or in NIGER in NIAMEY (Tuareg nomads Malian refugees). Education is the key to development. The association wishes, on the 2 sites where it is engaged in MALI and NIGER, to improve the rates and the conditions of schooling of the nomadic children.

Taaluma (Ghana and Togo)  https://www.taaluma.net/

Taaluma is a nonprofit organization that focuses on alleviating food insecurity in West Africa. They build aquaponics systems and training centers. Each center includes an aquaponics system, sack gardens a compost bin and a raised garden bed to show how to make the local soil fertile. They also travel to villages creating small gardens and teaching how to create sustainable food sources.

Organization focus on building and renovating of local schools, provide educational materials (e.g. pencil, notebook, etc), build library, sponsoring several high school graduates native of Sainte-Marie by providing them with a monthly scholarship.

Organization Free medical visits and material proposed to population of Sainte Marie island and renovation of some classrooms.

Laagm Taaba (Burkina Faso)  https://www.association-laagm-taaba.com/

The association Laagm Taaba, which means “grouping”, acts in the field of football and agriculture in the village of Namoukouka, located 200 km east of Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. It is structured by two antennas, one in Burkina Faso and one in France.

Malawi Education Support (Malawi)

The community project exists to improve the quality of life for children, promote education and improve health standards in the community. Just like many Malawian villages, this community has many vulnerable children who do not have social requirements for their survival. The project was established by Reverend Enock Saini Phiri to help provide food and academic support to the community. By now, the community now has a junior primary school (Grades 1 to 6) and has now been embraced by the Government of Malawi.

The association NOMAD acts for the Respect of the human rights and the Fundamental Liberties: the right in the Education, in the Health, in the Work, in the Culture… Dedicated in the development and improvement of the living conditions, the rehabilitation and the integration of the populations affected by the isolation and by the poverty.

Our project in DAKAR is to finance the construction of the accommodation center (dortoir) called THE REFUGE for the street children from 5 to 12 years old.

Timoun Kontan is a small association helping an orphanage called Nid d’amour in Haiti. The objective of Timoun Kontan is a much as possible to keep the children in Haiti by giving them a good education for them to help their country after.

A nonprofit organization created in 2012. Handled by students and young people and part of a national network of association having the same name : Initiative Bienfaiteur.

Oujda is one the coldest cities in Morocco during the winter. The association organize every year campaigns to distribute blankets, clothes and food to homeless people and in the villages around the city.

Futuro Vivo (Future Vivant/Future Alive) (Dominican Republic)  ​http://www.futurovivo.org/

Started in 2015 the project’s objective is to build and repair 130 houses for families living in extreme poverty conditions. Helping these families and kids to have an structured and healthy environment, will improve their lives, educational situation and future opportunities.

Helping Hands contribution will help cover the construction cost of one house for one of these families. The family and the community will help in the construction process, only the material’s cost needs to be covered.
